Juli and Larry will take you
through the most fundamental categories of Jazz with songs you
recognize, as well as pointing out what can make ANY song a JAZZ
song , and in a fun way! Using tunes as familiar as
"Heart and Soul" (and even "Twinkle Twinkle Little
Star") this duo will give YOU all the overview you need to
begin (or re-think) your exploration of this most American of
musical genres.
Juli
Redson-Smith is a singer and actress performing regularly
throughout the Front Range. She frequently appears as various
characters in murder mystery theater and improv shows
for corporate events.
Larry O’Connor
is a 25-year
veteran of Chicago piano bars who now lives and performs full time
in Colorado. He studied jazz at DePaul University in Chicago,
and now joins Juli as
fellow performer and musical director.
